We are very struck by the extraordinarily high standard of the heritage assessment, in which (in marked contrast to many submitted to the Borough Council), the historical and topographical section is almost faultlessly accurate and well illustrated with relevant map extracts, and the assessment itself is well balanced and firmly based on the evidence presented. It is a model of its kind and we would be pleased to see the author instructed by other applicants, including those with much larger scale schemes than this one (for which the report is so thorough). For once the applicants have spent their money wisely.
