Statement of Significance
A statement of significance provides an understanding of the heritage asset and its setting, including a summary history of the site, the planning context, historic mapping and identifies what is valuable about a heritage asset because of its heritage interest.
This can be used to help inform pre-application discussions and/or design proposals, giving a project the best chance of success at planning or listed building consent stage.
